Our core work and demonstrated expertise is in the areas of conflict, peace and security

To promote social capital formation and economic empowerment of communities, with a strategic focus on peacebuilding and collaborating with relevant institutions to improve civic spaces and good citizenship

our collective work has focused more on contributing to peace and conflict research, capacity building for priority populations, system-strengthening to address violence trends and the protection needs of communities

Our strategic interests include strengthening the conflict-sensitivity of policies and practices, engaging in CSO-Private Sector initiatives to increase private sector investment in peace and security.

OUR PROJECTS & PROGRAMME AREAS

CORAFID operates three (3) programme areas, including: Resource Development and Education Programme (ReDEP), which engages in Peace & Conflict Research, contributes to early warning and early response (EWER) and the development of Resources for Social Change, etc. Our second program area is, Women Action Strategy Programme (WASP), which intervenes in areas of Gender and Social Justice, Women Youth Peace and Security, and Environmental wellbeing, etc. Our third programme area is Citizenship and Governance Programme (CiGoP) and it seeks to promote Civic and peace education for in-school and out-of-school youth using community based approaches, Grassroots engagement in governance, and Social protection. .See our projects below.
